Deputy President was today, Sunday in Nakuru County attending a Holly Mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Bahati Constituency. Deputy President was hosted Ruto Bahati Member of Parliamet Kimani Ngunjiri among others.
It was while attending this Mass that the Catholic priest opened up to Ruto urging him to help the church build houses where priests can stay as they spread the word of God. “Tulipofikiria nani tutaita, hatukufikiria Mara mbili kwa sababu mnajua mtu mkarimu ni karimu na mtu mchoyo hata uende upige magoti, hakuna chochote atakufanyia. Kwa hivyo Naibu Rais, tulikimbilia mbunge wetu ambaye alituahidi ungefika kutusaidia," he said as he heaped praises on Bahati Member of Parliamet.
The Catholic priest Revealed that they are planning to put up more houses for priest saying that the current buildings they are using were built in 1940 during the reign of colonialists.
“Tumekuwa tukifanya ukarabati hapa na pale but saizi tuko wengi na pia afya ya hizi nyumba so sawa," he said.
He urged DP Ruto to put God first in everything he is doing for his plans succeed. “Weka Mungu mbele na usiogope, kuwa na ujasiri na ukakamavu na ukiwa na mazuri, watu watakufuata" he said.
