Maina Njenga presented himself in DCI Headquarters before he was later whisked away to Nakuru. His supporters camped at DCI protesting the move by government to arrest him.
Maina Njenga is a person who has survived assassination attempts during the tenure of former president Uhuru Kenyatta. Whether he will succeed under Ruto's Government given his activities, let's wait and see.
Government has affirmed that the Mungiki leadership remains largely outlawed and it's something that must be dismissed. The fact that government has linked Maina Njenga who takes himself as a pastor, clearly means that he has a long way to Go to secure his freedom in the court and in the public opinion.
