In his remarks, Dr Mutua stated that Kenyans have no power to decide after choosing leaders to represent them during elections.
He added that Kenyans can petition to the IMF but contracts are not signed on social media platforms.
"Your sovereign power lies at the ballot box. Once you cast your vote, you can only exercise vigilance, but essentially you donate your power to your representatives after voting. You can petitition IMF, but they do not sign contracts on social media. We are a peculiar lot indeed!" Dr Mutua stated.
Political Analyst David Makali has called out on Dr Ezekiel Mutua over his sentiments on the IMF Loan petition, stating that it is a mockery to Kenyans.
Makali has stated that the sentiments by the Moral Cop mock the endeavour of Kenyans who are petitioning to be relieved on the burden of unending debts.
"This contradicts your next tweet; you are mocking the endeavour of multitudes of aggrieved Kenyans petitioning to be relieved on the burden of unending debts," David Makali reacted.
