Despite the great squad built at the club this season, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is growingly falling out with the fans and another cup exit on Wednesday night.
United were eliminated from the Carabao Cup in the third round by West Ham United who got their sweet revange few days after losing to United in the Premier League.
Manuel Lanzini's early goal in the 9th minute was all the hammers needed to proceed to the next round though they had more open chances to win the game comfortably.1
Many may want defend Solskjaer because he had not lined up his best line up but the fact still remains that he has bottled another cup despite spending so much to build a great squad depth.
Taking to social media, Manchester United fans blasted the manager who they called clueless and lacking the winning mentality that is required at this historic club.
Santi: That's 18 consecutive trophies bottled after spending around 400m. Sack him @manutd and bring someone who can actually win things.
Gearoid: That’s the 10th cup competition that Solskjaer has managed to get us knocked out of. No trophies, just dross (progress as the top reds would call it.) If they weren’t thinking about sacking him before tonight I would certainly hope they are now. #OleOut
Beewol: What a horrible display. We should have conceded 5 or 6 goals by now. No matter what happens, this has been a very poor performance. Undeserving of anything other than a loss. Ole truly has no idea what he’s doing and that’s that on that. #OleOut
Moh Abba: #OleOut some people are Born to lose ...ole is one of them and he doesn't deserve a stay @ManUtd not only when Cristiano is present.
