The head of state William Ruto and his delegation have already arrived at the Nanyuki Stadium after a successful four-day retreat in Mount Kenya. There, they will likely join other worshippers for a church service that has been organized by local churches of various denominations.

Along with his deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, the Head of State is present with his prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi and other Kenya Kwanza Coalition leaders.
At the location of the gathering, where the head of state is the principal guest for the prayer session, hundreds of believers and supporters of President Ruto's administration who voted in the August election are presently flowing in.
After the church service, Ruto plans to host a number of roadside rallies to express his gratitude to the community for its support during his campaign for the presidency in the general election in August.
