Yesterday was a big day for Hon Raila Odinga and the ODM Party at large as he joined a section Mt Kenya leaders in a luncheon at the prestigious Safari Park hotel, Nairobi. The group of tycoons dubbed 'Mt Kenya Foundation' and some politicians endorsed Odinga's presidential bid.
The event was even aired live on Citizen TV as the Royal Media Services owner, SK Macharia was among the attendees.Odinga and his team engaged with the attendees and they all agreed that they would campaign for him in Mt Kenya region even at the grassroot level.
However, a good number of Kenyans seemed not to be impressed with the event. One of these Kenyans is Professor Kisiang'ani who took to his Twitter page and delivered bad news to Raila.
According to him, it wasn't bad for Raila to be endorsed yesterday but the problem is that the tycoons cannot deliver votes for Odinga given the fact that most of them are not in a position to convince their employees to vote for 'RAO'.
