1.Anglican church of Kenya(ACK).
This church was founded in 1884 as the diocese of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. It was later divided to enable each country to worsip independently. The first African bishop of this church was Festo Olang in 1970.
2.Our Lady of Good Hope catholic church.
Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic church is located in Bura Mwatate district. It is now over a 100 years since it was built in 1893. The church was built in south of Taita hill. It was mainly meant for promotion of christianity and uplifting the community.
It's located in Nairobi City square. The church is popurlarly known as The Cathedral Basilica of Holy Family. This was one of the first stone buildings in Nairobi. Railway construction workers were the first members to worship in this church.
The Cathedral Basilica of Holy Family was built around 1909 -1923. The first archbishop in this church was Joseph McCarthy in 1953 and is currently headed by Cardinal John Njue.
4.Mai Mahiu catholic church.
This church was built in 1942 by Italian prisoners of war. It is taken to be the smallest church in Kenya and is known as traveller's church. The church is under the control of Italian embasssy and Kenyan government.
