Mombasa Road has been experiencing traffic problems and it is for this that the government is building Nairobi Expressway and expanding other roads getting into and out of the city to solve this problem.
A section of Mombasa Road between Likoni Road and Tegla Lorupe Road is reported to be at standstill with motorists stranded for hours. Sources indicate that the flow of traffic is at standstill with motorists planning to use this road at this time being advised to use alternative routes.

In other news, a section of Gitanga Road in Kawangware is on the spot for what is alleged to be neglect by the government.
The section of the road is in a bad with the photos shared via Ma3Route showing a flooded road with cars forced to blindly pass over.
Kenyan are questioning the government through Kenya Urban Roads Authority, KURA why the road has not yet been fixed while alleging that the Lavington section is being given too much attention.
