Lawyer Donald Kipkorir Reveals Why Moi Shouldn't be Entrusted After Baringo Rejected BBI

Baringo County became the first county in Kenya to reject the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) in a day of debate that degenerated into chaos at Thursday February 11 assembly sitting. Teargasses were lobbed inside Baringo county assembly chambers during the debating of the BBI document moments before the speaker announced the final vote results.

During the voting, MCAs overwhelmingly voted against the constitutional bill with 30 MCAs voting "NO". This is a big blow for both Raila Odinga and president Uhuru Kenyatta since the two are in the frontline of convincing atleast 24 counties to pass the BBI report.

Lawyer Donald Kipkorir has broken silence following the decision of Baringo County Assembly failing to pass BBI. Baringo County, being Gideon Moi's home county had the guts to fail the top politician who has been in the frontline supporting BBI. Kipkorir has slammed Gideon Moi by stating that he shouldn't be entrusted to lead Kenya as president as he didn't convince his county assembly MCAs to pass the BBI.

Donald Kipkorir: "Any political leader who can’t deliver his County’s Assembly to pass the BBI Bill should not be allowed to sit on the High Table. If you can’t convince 30 MCAs, you aren’t worthy to be entrusted with convincing 52million Kenyans! Political Leadership is about numbers."
