The Former Prime Minister Of Kenya Requests Review Of Education System

The Teachers Service Commission proposed that all primary teachers who are not employed, and have a certificate in primary education to go back to various institutions to undertake a diploma course. At the moment, quite a number of Primary Teachers who applied for to get admission that they can study in various colleges have got admission letters.

On the other hand, the Teachers Service Commission directed that all employed Teachers to undertake a training on Teacher Professional Development modules. Teachers from various parts of the country disagreed with The Teachers Service Commission directives where they said that it is expensive.

Teachers from various parts of the country are now happy as they receive good news concerning the Competency Based Curriculum. The Former Prime Minster of Kenya Raila Amollo Odinga has now called for review of the Kenya's Education system. This is good news to Teachers since the CBC is bulky to them. Therefore, if the ministry of education will review the new system of education, Teachers will be relieved since they will continue with the older education system,8:4:4 which they are conversant with.
