Kakamega Homeboyz Land the Signature of Western Stima Goalkeeper Steven Odhiambo

Kakamega Homeboyz have signed Steven Odhiambo from Western Stima after a few days of training with the club.

Homeboyz were keen on beefing up the goalkeeping department after missing out on Vihiga United's Mustafa Oduor who joined Wazito FC.

Coach Bernard Mwalala confirmed that Odhiambo is their last signing of the season. The club has four goalkeepers who will compete for the starting position.

The Custodian was on his third season at the recently relegated Western Stima having played for FKF Premier League sides; Posta Rangers and Wazito FC.

He joins new signings; Michael Karamor from Western Stima, Yema Mwana from Bandari, Elix Otieno from Shabana FC, Enock Masinza from Green Commandos, Eric Ambunya from Tusker, Portipher Odhambo from Vihiga Bullets, and Sunday Mutuku who is making a comeback to the club from Ethiopia’s Sidana Coffee.

Kakamega Homeboyz managed to defeat newly promoted Police FC 1-0 in their league opener and will play against Wazito FC on 17th October - after the international break.
