As we're are remaining with only one year to 2022 general election, several politicians are very busy reorganizing themselves in order to come up with a stronger team that will enable them triumph here comes 2022 general election.
Amongst the leaders that have declared to vie for the position and those who are yet to declare there is looming a serious contest between the two main rivals that is Raila Odinga and William Ruto. Ruto has been the deputy president since 2013 and he has an upper hand of winning the election since has been in contact with people while executing the government agendas.
The main man that seems to give Ruto hard time is the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. He has vied for the position more than five time unsuccessful but he is still determined to win this time. It should be remembered that it is his last chance since he is 76 year now and there is a constitutional limitation on age. This means that it will be do or die and his opponent must tighten their belts.
After the famous handshake in 2018 with the president Uhuru Kenyatta there is high possibility he might support his bid for the top seat in the country since the president doesn't seems to be in very good terms with his deputy.
