Security is important for any country that intends to grow in all aspects. Good and peaceful atmosphere has always attracted the investors who always boost country's economy.At one time,Kenya was described as a heaven of peace in East Africa. This attracted many investors that made Kenyan economy to grow faster as compared to her neighboring countries.

Of late ,the security has been threatened specifically in the Northern part of the country. Recently, the bandits attacked and killed government officers who had gone there on peace mission.

The government responded by deploying the officers in the volatile area to unroot the main cause of insecurity. Local leaders have complained on how the government has undertaken the operation of whipping out the illegal groups that have always caused the insecurity in the region.

They have ganged up to call for the interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi resignation over how the government is undertaking Kapedo operations. They claim the innocent civilians are suffering in the hands of military officers who have been deployed there to ensure peace and stability is reinstated in the area.
