Deputy President William Ruto was today in Kilifi County for his second day of touring the Coastal region in a bid to steer his 2022 presidential bid in the region. He was accompanied by several members of parliament from the region amongst them Khatib Mwashetani of Lungalunga constituency and Aisha Jumwa of Malindi Constituency.
While at Timboni Center for Youth and women empowerment program in Watamu, Kilifi County, the Deputy President pledged to steer the youths and women's agendas in the Country's 2030 vision,a move he went ahead to describe as one that would ensure inclusivity for all in the country.
This has raised the question on the credibility of the second in command's urge to ascend into power,as he did make the same promise earlier before he ascended into power but have done nothing since then. While in dire need to get votes once more,he is once again back to the same spot with the same promises,a truly comical move.
