President William Samoei Arap Ruto has today issued fresh orders as the Orange Democratic Movement, ODM party leader Raila Odinga's planned Nationwide protests officially starts today.

The Head of State, in a quote posted by the Kenyans.co.ke has issued orders to the relevant agencies to immediately reconstruct all schools that were razed down and destroyed by bandits in disturbed counties.

President William Samoei Arap Ruto's orders now means that all the schools in the six bandit-prone counties in the region including Turkana, West Pokot, Elgeyo Marakwet, Baringo, Laikipia and Samburu which were declared ‘disturbed’ and ‘dangerous’ will be fully reconstructed and revamped ahead of their re-opening possibly after a half term which starts next week, March 16.

President William Ruto's orders comes as live pictures from Kisumu County indicate several youths in Kondele are currently holding protests in line with Raila's declaration yesterday.
