Narok County senator Ledama Ole Kina has took the country back to when the current deputy president Rigathi Gachagua was sacked when he was the district officer (DO).
Taking to his Twitter page, Ledama has said that the deputy president was fired because he misappropriated the relief food which was meant to feed the people of Laikipia district.
"Did you know that @rigathi was fired as a DO for Mismanaging relief food meant to feed people of Laikipia District ? Records never lie!" He wrote.
His revelation comes just moments after the former cabinet secretary for treasury hon Ukur Yattani confessed having been asked to wire some ksh 1.59 billion to the office of the deputy president for maintenance.
This has totally changed the trajectory of the claims by the controller of budget Margaret Nyakongo that she was forced and pressured to sign up a document that authorized for the CS to get ksh 15 billion before the current regime took charge of office.
