The youth leaders of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Coalition claim that they are being threatened and that others are being detained because they are supporting the ex-prime minister Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga's call for widespread protest.
Notwithstanding the warnings from the Kenya Kwanza coalition administration, the leaders made it clear that they would continue their preparations for the major event. This occurs just one day after Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, leader of the Azimio One Kenya Alliance Coalition, declared that the plans would proceed.
The Kenya Kwanza coalition government has been under pressure from the former prime minister, Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, to implement a number of reforms. He has maintained that they are prepared to mobilize the public in the event that President Hon. William Samoei Ruto ignores their demands.
Both President William Samoei Ruto and his deputy, President Rigathi Gachagua, have insisted that they will not accept the handshake stories because doing so will jeopardize their goals. The Kenya Kwanza coalition administration faces a serious conundrum in this regard.
