Deputy president William Ruto is conspicuously missing at parliament buildings to receive his boss His Excellency the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta.
However, it has emerged that he held a high profile leaders meeting at his official Karen residence in Nairobi with some of the top leaders from Bungoma county.
Among the leaders he met is the Bungoma County deputy governor Professor Charles Kibanani Ngome who paid him a courtesy call at his residence.
He was accompanied by the County Executive Committee member in charge of the department of Roads, Infrastructure and Public Works Collins Mukhongo.
According to the deputy president William Ruto, the two have vowed to support the deputy president William Ruto and his hustler nation movement ahead of the much anticipated presidential elections.
"At the Karen Residence in Nairobi County, met and engaged with Bungoma Deputy Governor Prof. Charles Kibanani Ngome and CECM for Roads, Infrastructure and Public Works Collins Mukhongo. They have boldly committed to support the Hustler Nation and walk with us in the transformation journey of our country through the revolutionary Bottom-Up Economic Model."Deputy President William Ruto.
