Raila Odinga, leader of the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Party, has declared Monday, March 20, 2023, a public holiday to allow Kenyans to participate in planned protests against President Ruto's government.
In a speech to his supporters in Siaya County on Tuesday, the ODM leader urged Kenyans to join the planned countrywide mass action, which will force the government to lower the cost of living in the country.
"In the name of Azimio One Kenya Alliance, we declare Monday, March 20 to be a public holiday," the former prime minister declared. Raila Odinga declared last week that a large protest against the Kenya Kwanza government would be held in Nairobi and that he would lead protesters to the state house.https://www.facebook.com/261061365404/posts/pfbid0iGtkAXFqfakP9erShqi7GwofDvAiUCYTYRUVWugJNAds81wckdLRcmWRNeNxdF6Fl/?app=fbl
