Another family is seeking for justice for their kin who was allegedly murdered by being thrown from the 4th floor of a building in Kasarani area, Nairobi County.
29-year-old Brenda Kawira who used to live in Kasarani area died a few days ago with the cause of death being stated to be suicide, but her family believes that she was murdered.
According to the police report, the boyfriend summoned several neighbors who aided him in rushing her to Uzima Hospital on Thika Road, where she was declared dead on arrival.
A physical check revealed visible injuries and bruises on her skin. The autopsy report subsequently revealed bruises on her right thigh, left side of the neck, left cheek, and legs.
Her relatives, acquaintances, and police officers who spoke to Nation.Africa last week voiced a strong need to relook into the chronology of events that ended Ms Kawira's life.
She had earned a scholarship to study for a Master's degree in Australia before her death and planned to leave the country in June 2023.
