The yearly anticipated match between two biggest Kenyan teams K'ogalo and Afc Leopards will this year take place under what I term as abnormal circumstances due to the effects of Corona virus pandemic. The match will take place on Sunday 7th Feb 2021 at Moi International Sports centre, Kasarani.

This year's Mashemaji derby will be a unique one with fans,according to Ntv Twitter handle,not allowed to attend as Leopards look to end the 7 consercutive unbeated ran against them by Gor Mahia. Some Twitter fans claimed Mashemeji derby is a Gor mahia affair while another blamed the government for not allowing fans to attend yet political rallies are ever full.
