The fight between Oscar Sudi and Jackson Mandago has taken a new twist as Kapseret Mp exposes corruption in Uasin Gishu County.
Through his social media Facebook page,Oscar Sudi reveals that the County has been receiving an average of 8.2B financial year since 2013 but Mandago's government underfunds constituencies.
In addition, the county collects more than 1.1B from its own source revenue every year translating to a total budget of 9.3B.
Sudi says Uasin Gishu county spends 5B in it's recurrent expenditure while development takes the remaining 4B which has accumulated from 2013 to over 40B budget meant for development projects.
"Bearing in mind that Uasin Gishu County has 6 sub-counties therefore each sub county is expected to receive 6.6B on development budget for the 10 years of devolution."
Pointing fingers at Jackson Mandago,Sudi accuses the governor of underfunding Kapseret sub-county as well as other constituencies in Uasin Gishu.
"All I can see in Kapseret are county projects totalling less than 1B.With my small budget of NG-CDF I can account for projects worth more than 800M across Kapseret Constituency this is after deducting the bursaries in the kitty."
Sudi says he still has a lot to share only that it's a matter of time before he unravels the truth and mysteries surrounding county monies.
The Mp went ahead and asked Gov. Jackson Mandago to go for a break of 5 years in order for the audit to be done.
