It was a season finale for the most followed television show Maria on Citizen TV. The curtains were drawn on Thursday 18th, with Maria (Yasmin Said) wedding Luwi (Brian Ogana).
The show was produced by Jiffy pictures and scripted by power couples and celebrated journalist Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdallah. Most of its actors are now looking for life in other great shows while others are taking a break.
Yasmin Said, well known by her acting name Maria, has now decided to join MNET popular show, Selina. This will be a big move according to her fans all around East Africa.
According to Kenyans news website, sources close to the engagement hinted that scriptwriters of Selina are already working on drafting Yasmin into the show prior to to making her make official appearance.
"I believe she is set to join the cast. Though the details are still scarce. They are holding discussions," an insider told the local news website.
The main actor, Celestine Gachuhi also dropped a big hint of working with Yasmin after dropping a question to her Instagram followers asking them if they would love to see the Mombasa-born actor on Selina.
