Gabriel Oguda who is among famous people on social media in Kenya today tweeted on his tweeter page that the Mt Kenya tycoons have given Raila six names to choose from for his 2022 running mate. Mwangi, Mutai Kagwe, Peter Munya, Lee Kinyanjui, SK Macharia and Peter Kenneth.
PurpleRain tweeted, "Munya ticks more boxes than all the rest and it would ensure that our Mt. Kenya East cousins do not continue playing second fiddle to the rest while two old debts, one owed to Jaramogi and the other to Gen Mwariama, would be settled in one go. Lee comes second."
John kingoo tweeted, "Raila needs tight balancing. Ignoring Mudavadi, Wetangula and kalonzo will see him lose a chunk of votes from his previous strong holds. And remember not all mt kenya will vote him."
Abdirahman tweeted, "Baba has been winning elections without mt kenya they should give those names to arap mashamba."
Jameson tweeted, "That's quite unfortunate, it's like taking baba to political oblivion. If Raila Odinga is serious about wining he should combine forces with Musalia Mudavadi Kalonzo musyoka Moi Gideon and Wetangulam and have a running mate from among them, or go for Martha Karua as a running mate."
Chieftain tweeted, "By August it had been decided Peter Kenneth would be Baba’s running mate. Everything else in between here is merely for optics."
