(Matiangi alights from an aeroplane last week after arriving in the country)
Former Internal security Cabinet secretary Fred Matiangi flew back in the country from abroad where he had gone amidst the hunt by the detectives. He is now ready to face the investigator's. Matiangi and other former Cabinet secretaries surfaced during Professor George Magoha's burial in Siaya. After that he then appeared one night in the company of hos lawyer Danstan Omari, Raila Odonga and other Azimio leader's claiming that there are DCI officer's who had tried to gain access to his premises. He could not ascertain their identity. Day's after that, he came out and said that his house had been raided and CCTV taken from his house. There were broken lo?vkd from his gate. Matiangi has been accused by the current regime of being overly political. Has to be remembered he wss one of the powerful men in Uhuru's government.
However it has emerged that' the detective's investigating the alleged raid at Matiangi's home last month arrested a Chief inspector of Police attached to Cybercrime unit at the DCI headquarters over undisclosed reason's. Sources reveal that he was arrested in regards to the investigation being held against Dr Matiangi.
Identified as Chief inspector Yussuf Hamidi Shikanda, his relatives say that he was arrested by his colleague's on Thursday morning, ay about 3:00 am from his Gachie residence. Other sources claim he was suspected of having leaked some vital operations information to the former Cabinet secretaries' men.
