Incidents where Kenyans have ended their lives have been on the rise with the government urging people to look for alternative methods to solving internal conflicts within themselves.
The well known man in the area is said to be a businessman who plies his trade in the Githunguri area of Utawala in Nairobi County.
The man hanged himself from a tree that is near a bus stop in the area where he was found this morning by the area residents.
He did not leave any family behind as the residents who were interviewed said that he had been living alone for all this while.
They revealed that he had been suffering from depression and drug abuse and this might have been the main contributors to the suicide.
His body was taken to the mortuary by the Ruai Police Station officers as per the reports that we have with us from Utawala this afternoon.
He did not leave a suicide note behind according to the reports that we have from the scene.
