The story that hit the headlines in Kenya media houses and social platforms was about the former Senator for Kakamega County Cleophas Malala. The vocal politician who has always been a bonafied member of the Amani National Congress Party left it and was announced as the new Secretary General of the ruling United Democratic Alliance party of Kenya. Both the UDA and the ANC are affiliated to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance which is headed by president William Samoei Arap Ruto.
Prime Cabinet secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi has been publicly left humiliated by that move given that it was Hon Cleophas Malala who convinced him to join president William Samoei Arap Ruto. According to NTV News Kenya, Vivienne Taa said that it is just intriguing because Malala was originally in ANC and he did not announce publicly that he is leaving ANC for UDA.
"Malala Bolts Out Of ANC: It's just intriguing because Malala was originally in ANC and he didn't publicly announce that he's switching parties. What comes to mind is 'kikulacho ki nguoni mwako' - Vivienne Taa." Tweeted by NTV News Kenya
