This afternoon, Hon. Raila Odinga, the leader of the ODM party, received some unfavorable information. This information was received after one of his close pals in Azimio came out to inform him that they would not be attending his protests, which were anticipated to start at any time tomorrow.
According to The Star News, the outspoken deputy governor of Kakamega county, who has been Raila Odinga's close associate, stated that Raila Odinga should not anticipate them at his anti-government protests. The government has been providing them with funding for development, according to Savula, therefore governors and deputy governors cannot object against it. In addition, Savula emphasized the legitimacy of Ruto's administration.
“Don’t expect us at the mass action protest because President William Ruto’s government was legitimised by the Supreme Court ruling after the August 9, 2022, general elections. MPs and senators are the best people to engage in protests because they are the ones who oversight the government." Said hon Savula.
