Chelsea manager has reacted on the absence of his central defender who is set to miss Saturday clash against Brentford as the Brazilian will be affected with international duty. South American players will not be able to report back to their clubs after International break as they are set to take part in CONMEBOL today.
Chelsea will be without Thiago Silva who will be playing today for his country Brazil. 37-year old will not be able to travel back to North London and participate in Saturday match. In addition, Brazil and Argentina informed clubs that they will not hesitate to allow they players back quickly. More than nine players are set to miss EPL matches.
'Thiago Silva is not with us. He is still on international duty back to be completed today. He will nit be in the squad for Saturday clash against Brentford. I will miss him and his support but we are all aware he will be representing his country too. He will be back with time and take back in training with other players.'
