Bad News To ODM Over The Intended Alliances With The Jubilee Party After Kindiki Predicted This

The former Speaker of the Senate Kithure Kindiki has reacted over the intended alliance between the Orange Democratic Party and the Ruling Jubilee party. Through his Facebook page, Kindiki played down the proposed Alliance citing that it will give no any value to the Orange Democratic Movement especially in the Central region.

He said the Alliance will only boost the Orange Democratic Movement in Nyanza region and reduce the popularity of the Jubilee party in the Central region. This will mean that from Kindiki's perspective, the alliance will be of no value ahead of the 2022 general elections.

He went ahead to say that if the other National Super Alliance affiliates decide to walk out of the Collation as they have promised, then the effect will be more.

"The proposed ODM-Jubillee merger can at best boost ODM in Nyanza & diminish Jubilee in Central. If NASA- affiliates make good the threat to walk out of their embattled coalition, the aforesaid outcome will be affirmed even more." Kindiki wrote.

Kindiki's remarks comes after the Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga met some leaders from the Mt. Kenya region in Mombasa where they stressed the importance of joining hands ahead of the upcoming general elections. Among the Mt. Kenya leaders who were present includes the National assembly Majority Leader Amos Kimunya, Nominated Member of parliament Maina Kamanda among others.
