The two military generals fighting in Sudan believe they are too powerful, but President Ruto has said that once he attacks them, they would repent the day they were born. According to the president, a peaceful Sudan is what he wants to see, and that goal must be met.
The military must retreat to their camps and hand over power to citizens, as President Ruto has made clear. Ruto is adamant that his government will act brutally and mercilessly if the ceasefire is not maintained.
Military members in Sudan have been cautioned by President Ruto that it is not their place to instigate mayhem and fatalities. Given the situation in Sudan, which is escalating into civil war, Kenyans are waiting to see what happens.
