Ruto's Close Ally Dispear Before Court Due To Following Reasons

Oscar Sudi, a Kapseret Member of Parliament, refused to appear in court on Tuesday in a lawsuit alleging that he forged his education documents after contracting COVID-19.

Sudi is accused of falsifying a Diploma Certificate in Business Management that he said was awarded by the Kenya Institute of Management.

Sudi's lawyers, lead by Thomas Ruto, testified before Magistrate Felix Kombo on Tuesday that the MP had been advised by doctors to self-isolate.

He testified that the number 36262 on Sudi's certificate belonged to a certificate issued on September 24, 2009 to one Elkanah K. Kimutai, who was admitted to the Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management program with the admission number NRB20870.

Sudi's alleged admission number NRB/20879 was later determined to correspond to Scolastica Achieng Odhiambo, a 2005 graduate of the Diploma in Non-Governmental Organization Management.Nabiki Ene Kashu, Principal Examinations Secretary of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), also told the court that the legislator did not register for or take the 2006 KCSE exams at Highway Secondary School in Nairobi.
