Raila Odinga is expected to tour Vihiga county for the first time on matters concerning 2022 presidential campaigns amid the ongoing voter registration practices in the country where he is expected to encourage the residents to turn out and register.
Raila who has not officially declared his interest has been welcomed in the aforesaid region where ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi comes from having declared publicly his bid to cling to power in 2022.
" It is point blank, its open and we are supporting our presidential aspirant Raila Odinga who is our ODM party leader and this region belongs to ODM and our governor has a powerful position in the party ," said Vihiga county Deputy Governor Hon. Saisi.
Addressing the media some hours ago, Kakamega governor has openly announced that he is committed to ensuring that DP Ruto and Musalia Mudavadi lose during the upcoming 2022 general elections while revealing that he is going to do anti- campaigns.
" There is no other coalition and the way we are here is a signal that we have United to bring Kenyans together so that Kenya can be peaceful. All those politicians interested in the Presidential seat should come together and support Raila for presidency. "
"Raila can change the economy of the country, he has experience that is rich and can bring change, he has been a leader of those who have fought for the independence of this country. I would like to tell Kenyans and ODM supporters to turn out in numbers and vote for Raila," added Hon. Ottichilo
