A Man from Chaka, Nyeri County has excited netizens after gifting former prime Minister Raila Odinga during his tour in the area.
The man who is reportedly a shoe seller gave Raila a pair of shoes. From photos shared on social media, the man excitedly handed the shoes to Raila who wore them there and then.
Odinga is currently on a tour in central Kenya where he seeks the support of the Mt Kenya residents in his 2022 presidential bid. Before beginning the day's tour Raila held a press conference together with Governors Nderitu Muriithi(Laikipia), Dr. James Nyoro(Kiambu), and Lee Kinyanjui(Nakuru) at a hotel in Laikipia town. He then toured the areas of Chaka, Narumoru, karatina market, Muranga and Sagana Mwea where he attracted huge crowds and addressed locals.
