Lawyer Danstan Omari has rubbished claims that the former Interior CS Dr Fred Matiang'i has gone to self exile. According to Danstan Omari, Dr. Fred Matiang'i has gone to UK to deal with family matters. He alleged that Dr Fred Matiang'i can't run from the country as he is innocent.
According to Danstan Omari, the speculations going are are not true and that he went on Sunday. Fred Matiang'i has been hitting headlines after claiming his official residence was invaded by police officer and his lawyer Danstan Omari has been summoned by the DCI to substantiate the allegations.
Many people have been attacking the government for being very tough on the former CS who was very tough on the current regime. They think that its time for President William Ruto and DP Rigathi Gachagua to revange what they went through during the reign of President Uhuru Kenyatta with Dr Fred Matiang'i being the interior CS.
News of Matiang'i fleeing the country have been hitting airwaves claiming that the immigration department should be held responsible. However, Danstan Omari has cleared the air that Matiang'i dint run from the challenges he is facing in the country.
