In accordance with Article 155 cup 4 of the constitution of Kenya, the following Secretaries were re-assigned to; Maj. Gen. Gordon O. Kihalangwa State Department for Energy, De. Joseph K. Njoroge State department for transport, Mr. Solomon Kitungu State Department for public works, and Mr. Nelson Marwa Sospeter State Department for Social Protection, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes.
On the other hands Cabinet Reshuffle was done in the following dockets, Dr. Monica Juma moved to Ministry of Energy from Ministry of Defence. Charles Keter moved to Ministry of Devolution from Ministry of Energy, and Hon. Eugene Wamalwa moved to Ministry of Defence from Ministry of Devolution.
This reshuffle happen one year before 2022 generation, this may be taken as government preparation to ensure security during and before election is retained.
Unlike other reshuffle which president has done when going outside country today president Uhuru Kenyatta was expected to inspect and open new hospital at Kibara and initialize the process of new roads in the same sub country together with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
