DP Ruto Raids Raila's Turf, Hosts More Than 400 Leaders From Nyanza Including MPs (Photos)

The 2022 succession politics continus to gain momentum, as various aspirants who wishes to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta are busy reorganizing themselves to strengthen their political bases ahead of 2022 presidential elections. Among those who have shown interest in the top seat include Raila Odinga, William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Mukhisa Kituyi.

Today, Dp Ruto raided Raila's Turf and hosted more than 400 grassroot leaders from Nyanza region. The region is always the stronghold of former premier and it is where Raila is hoping to receive a lot of backing in the 2022 elections. Taking to his twitter account, the Dp said that he held a meeting with the leaders in his Karen Home.

"Hosted more than 400 grassroots leaders from Nyanza led by Eliud Owalo, Karen, Nairobi County," Dp Ruto posted.

Among also those who attended the meeting were Mps Kipchumba Murkomen, Owen Naya, Marwa Kitayama, Alfa Miruka, Kimani Ichungwa and Oscar Sudi.

" MPs Marwa Kitayama (Kuria East), Alfah Miruka (Bomachoge Chache), Owen Baya (Kilifi North), Kimani Ichung’wa (Kikuyu), Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet), Oscar Sudi ( Kapseret), Karen, Nairobi County were present," Ruto added.
