"Thanks & All The Best," Chelsea Fans Happy As Striker Finalizes Move To Italian Side

Chelsea fans have wished Olivier Giroud all the best as move from Chelsea to AC Milan come to final step.

The Champions League winner has signed paperwork and will undergo medical check tomorrow at Milan.

He has signed a contract keeping him with the Italian side until June 2023.

The transfer is a blow to Chelsea especially after they failed to get Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea will have to stick to their current strikers or look for a cheaper option from the average EPL clubs.

As Chelsea fans await official announcement from both involved clubs, they have thanked Giroud for everything he did at Chelsea.

They have faith he will win more trophies at Italy, just like he did at Chelsea after leaving Arsenal.

Olivier Giroud subs for Tammy Abraham in a past EPL match. Giroud has been out of favour since Thomas Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard.

Below are some of the comments after Fabrizio Romano shared the update.

Esso Essien: Giroud goes around winning trophies and he will get something at AC Milan. Good luck champ.

Simeon Ivanov: Lead us to UEL & UCL win you will always be in our hearts.

Yebufara: Willian should learn something from this man.

Promise Nations: Funny enough, he won UCl and Europa just few year at Chelsea. Then there is a team called Arsenal.

Monday Emmanuel: Good for him, a true gunner will always be a gunner.

Naomi Lusekelo: I'll miss him in blue.
