Matiang'i presented himself at the DCI offices on Tuesday after he received summons on Monday. He arrived in the company of lawyers and went into an interrogation room where four senior officers from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau were waiting.
However, Citizen Digital spoke to his advocate, Danstan Omari who said that they were expecting the cross-examination to be in regards to the summons, but when they got to the DCI the questions changed as the investigating officers started querying Matiangi about his assets.
After collecting his dividends from parliament, Raila headed straight to DCI headquarters to join a host of former CS and leaders who are at the sleuths headquarters in solidarity with the former Interior CS.
However, Raila was denied entry into DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road where former Interior CS Matiang’i is being grilled.
