Since Matiang'i asserted that there had been a police raid at his house a few weeks ago, he has been at odds with the government.

Before police in Karen publicly conducted a raid on his house and removed the footage from his CCTV cameras, the government denied this.

The government has been trying to track him down for allegedly lying about the original raid, and Osoro revealed that the proceedings will probably end with his arrest.

It's important to note that the South Mugirango MP, who is also from the Gusii region like the former minister, has added that this will take place soon.

"He will be summoned, accused, and required to make a defense. Because our networks are independent, it will happen eventually, if not today "He revealed it to The Standard.

However, he has promised Matiang'i that the detention will be handled politely. He has advised him to refrain from attempting to gain compassion before it actually occurs.

"A stray dog will frighten the living daylights out of him with even the smallest movement, making him look for unwarranted pity. The Kenya Kwanza administration will make any necessary arrests in a polite manner "His addition.

Additionally, an alleged attempt to rig the election last year so that Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga would win has been connected to Matiang'i's former docket.

He was one of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta's ministers who openly backed Raila, but that did not prevent Ruto from winning. Uhuru also backed Raila and actively supported him.
