Transport Cs Murkomen has yesterday started that he went to inspect the Lanet and Kitale airstrip just to check the progress of runway and terminal building. He also confirmed that by ending of the infrastructure it will be ease to transport farm products and ease transportation of tourists and locals within the country.
He also added some firm instructions to constructor, "I instructed the contractors to speed up works and deliver the projects on or before end of August 2023. Upon completion the airstrip will ease movement of passengers and farm produce to markets as well as opening the regions for tourism."

Those who depend on the Eldoret Airport will have an alternative, thanks to the Kitale Airstrip. Travelers to and from Transzoia County, Bungoma, and other areas of Western Kenya will be served by it and they will enjoy the best infrastructure and good quality of this airstrips which are of good quality with better facilities to make customers happy.
