President Uhuru Kenyatta Assures Teachers And Students Schools Will Open In May.

Our country has been experiencing a lot of challenges especially the education since last year due to Covid-19 pandemic. Since last month when President gave new guidelines and ended up some counties been looked most parents lost hope that schools would open as it was expected that is May. The students dream have been shuttered because during the president’s speech he suspended face to face learning in all institutions including universities, colleges, and tertiary learning institutions.


It’s now good news for learners as president Uhuru Kenyatta has hinted that schools will reopen as scheduled. In the message sent by the office of government spokesperson, the president thanked teachers, parents, students, school managers and education stakeholder’s hope and faith over Covid-19 that brought doubt and fear .He said that the successful completion of KCPE and KCSE is clear indication victory.


`As we plan for resumption of classes in May ,we must go forth as people, courageously appreciating that dark cloud always has a silver lining`, part of statement I read.
