ODM MP Peter Kaluma Explains How They Are Going to Reverse Supreme Court Ruling on LGBTQ

Homa Bay Town Constituency Member of Parliament Hon George Peter Kaluma has escalated his war against the recent ruling that was delivered by the Supreme Court of Kenya allowing the LGBTQ community to be registered as a Non-Governmental Organization in Kenya.

While addressing the media in Parliament Buildings, the vocal lawmaker insisted that the ruling was against the Kenya constitution and they will not allow LGBTQ to be normalized in Kenya.

The vocal lawyer said that they will return to the Supreme Court of Kenya and ask it to review its decision. He said the ruling can be reversed if the judges review their decision. He also added that he was glad that the ruling was made by only three judges, two were against it and two were not there.

Faith Gitau who is the Nyandarua county Women's Representative slammed the Supreme Court ruling saying that it was malicious and it was against the Constitution. She vowed to go the extra mile and ensure that LGBTQ vice is not allowed in Kenya.

This comes as other high-ranking leaders from the government including National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula rejected the Supreme Court ruling saying that it was against the rules of the land and African culture.
