Kenyan celebrated genge artist Nonini has taken to his Instagram page to dismiss the claims that rapper Julius Owino aka Juliani is broke. In a long post he shared, Nonini defended his colleague, stating that he is among the most established artist in the country.
Nonini stated that unlike the governors who get monthly salary, artists are self employed, she some like Juliani have built their strong empires, hence not facing any financial problems.
Nonini stated further that at some point, Juliani used to make like Ksh 20 million per year. Nonini went on to state that the fact that Juliani is still in touch with his background despite his wealth is the reason people think he is broke.
On this, he blamed netizens for their judgement, saying the way they assume Juliani is broke just because he does not wear suits is the reason most of them are easily conned by those who are usually dressed smartly.
