His excellency Abdulswamad Nassir has today asked netizens to remember Raila Odinga in their prayers. He claimed that Raila has been given a offer to join the government but he declined.
He added that Raila's plan is to ensure all Kenyans can afford the cost of living because for him he can easily purchase anything he wants.
"Mkisikia Raila akisema wapunguze Bei ya unga, sio eti hawezinunua hiyo unga. Sio kwamba the governor or MPs hawezinunua hiyo unga, lakini ni Kwa sababu ya wananchi wengine (If you hear Raila saying that they lower the price of maize floor, it's not because he can't buy the floor. It is not because the Governor or MPs can't buy the floor, but it is because of the common mwananchi)," Governor Nassir said.
Mombasa governor also asked all the people who are going to church today and even mosques to pray for Raila Odinga to get more energy in fighting for Kenyans.
"Kuna wakenya wataenda kanisa leo na wale wataenda msikitu.. tumuombee Raila".
Abdulswamad also alleged that Raila was offered a lot of money and the office for opposition leader but declined for him to fight for Kenyans.
"Amepatiwa akaambiwa chukua office of the opposition leader. Amepatiwa akaambiwa chukua Hela zako lakini alikataa (He has been told to take the office of the opposition leader. He has been offered money but he refused)," the governor alleged.
