Vibrant Meru Senator Mithika Linturi has conducted a Twitter poll to determine who Kenyans will vote for as president come 2022.
On his Twitter handle this staunch UDA and Ruto supporter possed a question to Kenyans on their preferred presidential candidate. The question was as follows 'Who will you vote for president in 2022 general elections?'
Linturi's poll included Deputy President William Ruto, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi.
In the poll, more than 1,100 participants had voted with 22 hours remaining to the end of the poll.
The ongoing results of these presidential candidates in Mithika's poll are as follows
William Ruto- 78%
Raila Odinga- 18%
Kalonzo Musyoka- 2%
Musalia Mudavadi- 3%
In the poll, UDA leader William Ruto is leading with an impressive 78% followed by ODM leader Raila Odinga with 18%. The third position was taken by ANC boss Musalia Mudavadi with 3% while the fourth was for Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka with 2%.
According to the votes cast William Ruto's 78% represents 913 votes out of the 1,171 votes cast currently. Raila Odinga's 18% represents 210 votes. Kalonzo Musyoka's 2% represents 23 votes. Musali Mudavadi's 3% represents 35 votes of the total votes cast currently.
