Orange Democratic Movement vocal legislator Junet Mohamed has finally broken silence after Deputy President William Ruto stormed Raila Odinga's political backyard, Migori, Nyanza region.
According to the Suna mp who is a loyalist to the ODM chief, the warm reception the second in command received in Migori is a fruit of the handshake between head of state, President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila.
Attacking the DP who has been opposed to the handshake, Junet has cited that all those who were against it are now enjoying it's benefits which include peace, Unity and stability in the country.
"Congratulation the people of Migori for demonstrating that the HANDSHAKE changed politics of Kenya. Even anti handshake prophets of doom are benefiting from the peace, unity and stability across the country." Junet has said.
This comes moments after Migori Governor Okoth Obado on Saturday publicly cut links with ODM as he hosted Deputy President William Ruto in Awendo town.
Ruto urged the constituents to vote for him, saying he is best-suited to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022, because he has “the best interest of Kenyans at heart”
In his address, Ruto claimed President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have teamed up to frustrate his presidential bid, saying that his only hope was now lying with the ordinary Kenyans.
