The Deputy President William Ruto's top ally, Moses Kuria, revealed that Mr Koimburi was either summoned for putting up his posters or because of 'the colour of his underpants.'

"The People’s Empowerment Party candidate for Juja Hon George Koimburi is at the Juja DCI offices recording various statements for the third day in a row. If its not about why he is putting up posters, its about the colour of his underwear." He wrote in a post on Facebook.

He added that all this are happening because of political reasons but he is upbeat that his candidate is upto task in the upcoming by-election.
