An entertaining weekend came to a close with the Los Blancos winning against the Sevillistas in the Bernabeu.
An action packed week is ahead of us yet again, this time round not UEFA competitions, but league football not forgetting domestic cups.
My sampled teams for tonight's matches extends to South American football.
Here are five of today's analysed fixtures:
1. Goztepe vs Fenerbahçe
Both teams managed a single win in the last five fixtures of the Turkish Super League.
Goztepe is battling relegation as Fenerbahçe is looking to have consistent results after winning against Galatasaray last week.
Fenerbahçe will be hoping to welcome Luis Gustavo back after picking up a muscle injury.
This will be an encounter where we hope the away team bags all points.
2. Vejle vs Midtjylland
The lackluster Danish league toppers meet the rock bottom Vejle in Vejle Stadion.
Midtjylland has not registered a win in his last two fixtures loosing both while Vejle lost her last match as well.
This will be a must win for the away team as they try to build on their European win against Braga in midweek.
3. FC Emmen vs Almere City
The Eerste Divisie league in the Netherlands continues tonight with the home team hoping for promotion while the away team playing to better her results.
The home team last game ended in a barren draw while Almere City lost.
This encounter majorly ends in stalemates. We hope for the same tonight.
Prediction: FC Ammen or Draw
4. Sportivo Barracas vs Puerto Nuevo
A two legged Argentine Primera D playoff will determine which team gets promoted.
Sportivo Barracas are having a great season which will pay off when they successfully gets promoted.
Playing in their home turf where away goal rule count, Barracas will have to produce their season's best performance.
This will be a scintillating encounter.
Prediction: Sportivo Barracas wins.
5. Union de Santa Fe vs Atletico Tucuman
The home team will be hoping to build on their last away win and climb the Argentine Liga Profesional log.
The away team has been very poor conceding at least two goals in every encounter. This may take a toll on them come the end of the season.
Union de Santa Fe will also be hoping to win at her home ground as she lost the last encounter.
Prediction: Union de Santa Fe wins.
Best of Luck.
