It is now official that the united democratic Alliance party will be under the able leadership of former kakamega senator cleophas Malala and Cecily mbarire the embu governor.
The two leaders were handed over the mantle to lead the party to the next level from the former party officials who have been given a new role in parliament and in the Senate.
Today the former party official Johnston muthama together with Veronica Maina officially handed over the instruments of party powers to the two vocal politicians who have vowed to ensure that party discipline is an hands and that the party get to the next level.
This is coming just a few days after a meeting at state house where President William ruto presided over the new listing of party officials who are now expected to ensure that the party remains intact until 2027 when the next elections will be held
